How Many Cells are in a Leukopak?

Leukopaks may contain 5 to 20 billion white blood cells, depending on the volume of blood processed from the donor. They may also contain plasma, some platelets, and very few red blood cells.

Leukopaks typically consist of approximately 50% T cells, 20% monocytes, 10% B cells, 10% natural killer cells, 3% granulocytes, and 3% hematocrit.

  • Our proprietary protocol for collection of MNCs from people with hematologic malignancies.
  • Your IRB-approved protocol for collection from normal subjects or subjects with specific health histories, implemented by adding us as a collection site under your protocol.
  • A custom protocol drafted jointly, with us managing the protocol submission and securing approval.
